Red Weave

Fiber-art-lovers will appreciate the chunky and fraying nature of Red Weave. Felted woolen strips are woven together by hand in a loose criss-cross pattern, and then felted again to further amalgamate the component parts. The result is a characterful one-of-a-kind composition that brings artful substance to any environment.

  • Studies are fiber-art compositions that serve as material exploration for Waste No More’s array of techniques and surprising visual effects. Often, they are the prototype for larger Wallworks. They are arranged by hand and industrially felted to produce one-of-kind artworks that can be framed, mounted, or hung as is. Made from remnants of reclaimed EILEEN FISHER clothing, they play with texture, color, and shape with a spirit of lively experimentation that far outsizes their intimate scale.
