Wallworks

White Lines

Like a beautiful gown, this one-of-a-kind wall hanging cascades in a single dramatic column. At the top, a cross-hatching of linen fibers salvaged from reclaimed pants splinters and frays. The backdrop of milky-white wool is made from sweater remnants that have been layered and adhered together using Waste No More’s signature felting process. This merging of handwork and industrial tooling results in a 21st-century fiber art that is rich with texture, depth, and expression.

  • Wallworks, in their most essential guise, are large-scale, one-of-a-kind wall hangings felted from reclaimed EILEEN FISHER clothing. The variety of materials, colors, and hand-arranged compositions renders each piece wholly unique. The size and textural quality of Wallworks make for a stunning addition to private and public spaces alike, providing visual impact and a modicum of acoustic dampening. Wallworks were first displayed in the Waste No More exhibit at Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano, the prestigious furniture and design trade fair.
